Khum Phaya Mangrai is located in Ban San Pa Sak, Village No. 3, Mengrai Subdistrict, Phaya Mengrai District, Chiang Rai Province, about 4 kilometers from the district center. It is a sacred site deeply revered by the people of Phaya Mengrai District and surrounding areas.
Every year, on April 18, the Phaya Mangrai Worship Ceremony is held. The event includes a grand ritual offering and a ceremonial water-pouring ceremony to pay homage to King Mangrai the Great and senior Buddhist monks.
The celebration also features various cultural performances, providing an opportunity for locals to showcase their traditional knowledge and artistic skills. Visitors can enjoy traditional music and dance performances, as well as participate in competitions such as the Miss Phaya Mangrai Beauty Contest and various talent contests for both youth and the general public.
