Experience the diverse ethnic cultures within our community, where traditional craftsmanship is preserved and celebrated. Visitors can participate in local handicraft activities, including weaving and embroidery, both in traditional and contemporary styles, showcasing the intricate beauty of Akha patterns. These techniques have been passed down through generations, offering an authentic cultural learning experience.

Additionally, the community offers traditional ethnic cooking experiences, allowing visitors to explore and enjoy the unique flavors of each ethnic group. Guests can also enjoy cultural performances by children, youth, and local villagers, featuring traditional dances, folk games, and daily life demonstrations, providing a deeper insight into the authentic traditional way of life.

Our community is unique for its ethnic diversity, bringing together Lanna people, Tai Yai, Akha, Yong, and Central Thai residents who live in harmony while beautifully preserving their cultures. The area is home to both historical and natural landmarks, including the “Northernmost of Siam” marker, where the Sai River and Ruak River converge, offering visitors a scenic experience with a traditional wooden vehicle used for sightseeing.

Beyond its cultural richness, the community also promotes sustainable tourism through the New Theory Agriculture Route, where visitors can learn about King Rama IX’s Royal Initiatives and environmental conservation through the Khok Nong Na Model.

Handicrafts and arts thrive here, allowing visitors to engage in jade stone carving and participate in efforts to preserve the Lanna language. Another highlight is Phor In Lao’s Herbal Garden, where over 300 species of medicinal plants can be studied for their health benefits and traditional uses.

Our community is also a center for fashion and cultural arts, continuing the legacy of Akha embroidery and sewing techniques, which have been adapted into the creation of unique Lanna-inspired fashion designs, blending tradition with modern aesthetics in a truly distinctive way.
