Poo Kaeng Waterfall is located in Mae Yen Subdistrict, Phan District, Chiang Rai Province. It is a medium-sized waterfall with a continuous water flow throughout the year. The waterfall is formed by the accumulation of limestone carried by the water. It has a total of nine tiers, with a hiking trail of approximately 1 kilometer. Each tier is about 100 meters apart, and all levels have pools where visitors can swim.
Within the area, there are many small caves and a single nature study trail, which is 1.5 kilometers long. The park also features three camping grounds, with two designated areas for cooking. It can accommodate approximately 1,935 visitors per night.
Tourism activities in the area focus on both recreation and conservation, including swimming, relaxation, camping, hiking along nature trails, birdwatching, tree nursery activities, tree planting, waste management programs, and youth conservation camps.
